British Eventing is the Great Britain governing body for the equestrian sport of eventing, which combines a single rider and horse pairing competing in dressage, showjumping and cross country. The organisation both regulates the sport and organises nearly 200 affiliated events across the country and is a member of the British Equestrian Federation. It provides the competitors for Team GBR in international competition and sets the rules under which affiliated competitions are held. The British Horseracing Authority’s Careers in Racing team implement recruitment, training, education and community initiatives for the horseracing industry. If you’re looking for advice and guidance on racing, they can provide invaluable help. We are extremely pleased to work closely with Careers in Racing as part of our racing provision.
We’ve been working in partnership with The Saddlery Training Centre for many years; it’s one of the only two centres to offer the Apprenticeship Scheme in England and is an approved assessment centre for the City & Guilds National Saddlery Skill Assessment and Qualification Scheme for the Saddlery Trade.
Haddon Training has been working alongside The Hunting Office to ensure that skills from previous generations of hunt staff are passed on to new team members. The future of all forms of hunting will rely upon the training, education and qualifications of all staff coming into the industry, to ensure animal welfare is maintained to the highest standard in the future.
